It is a day of prayer, meditation and celebration of the ocean, which means complete silence on the waters. No boats and no water activities. Abiding by the Nyepi Laut rules is a legal requirement by all people in Nusa Lembongan and those who do not abide will be reprimanded by the local authorities. If you are planning on getting to the island or leaving by boat, you will have to make changes to your booking. We would love for you to stay with us during this time and apologize if it does cause any inconvenience to your holiday plans, but unfortunately, this is out of our control.
