Starting with a tremendous Taman Ayun Temple, as a main site of worship and unifying symbol among the Mengwi royalty and its people. Next stop is Ulun Danu Beratan temple, one of the island’s most iconic sanctuaries. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding creates a unique floating impression, while the mountain range of the Bedugul region encircling the lake provides the temple with a scenic backdrop. The trip then continue to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (Balinese irrigation system) where the lunch will be as well.
